Effective: 29 August 2026
This policy covers the hug police app (web, iOS, and Android) and this website, operated by Sendracorp ("we"). Reach us at support@hugpolice.com. Short version: there are no accounts to create, we store the minimum needed to deliver hugs between exactly two people, and you can erase everything yourself at any time.
Data is stored with Supabase (our database and messaging processor) and the site is served by Vercel. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Push notifications are delivered through your platform's service (Apple, Google, or your browser's push provider); those services see delivery envelopes, not your hug history.
Everything is kept until you delete it. In the app: settings → delete my data permanently removes your identity, your memberships, your push tokens, and any space left without members (including its hugs). You can also email us and we'll do it for you. Details on the deletion page.
hug police is not directed at children under 13 and we knowingly collect no personal information from anyone.
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date. Meaningful changes will be visible in the app.
